Dear High School Parents/Guardians:
Sleepy Eye Public School received permission from the Regional Support Team to start the transition of the our 7-12 high school students back to in-person learning. First, we will transition our 7th and 8th grade students back to every day learning starting on Tuesday, February 16th 2021. Second, we plan to bring back our 9-12 grade students on Monday, March 1st 2021. We will need your support to make this transition a success. With these changes, we realize social distancing is compromised, therefore it is important to continue to follow all other mitigations in place with fidelity-masking, handwashing and sanitizing, cleaning, seating charts, etc. The district is excited to have our students back in school, but we want this to be a safe experience and we also want it to last for the duration of the school year. So we all need to be vigilant. Mr. Laffen will also communicate specific student expectations in our building to the families in the near future.
Looking forward to seeing all students back in person!!
Mr. Cselovszki
